About this tool

The BMI calculator divides your weight by the square of your height to give a body mass index and a category, converting imperial inputs for you. BMI is a quick screen, not a diagnosis. It does not account for muscle, build, age, or where weight sits, so athletes and others can read high while being perfectly healthy. Treat the number as a rough guide.
