Overview
An in-browser image editor for everyday tasks: convert between formats, compress to a smaller file, and resize. It also strips the image's embedded metadata as it works. Useful for getting a picture to the right format and size for a website, an upload, or sharing. Everything runs in your browser, so your image is never uploaded.
How it works
You load an image and apply what you need. Converting changes the file format (for example PNG to JPG or WebP), compressing reduces the file size using a quality setting you control, and resizing scales the image to a width you choose, with the height adjusted automatically to keep the proportions. The tool also removes the image's embedded metadata. Because the work happens locally through your browser, the image stays on your device and is not sent to a server.
How to use it
- Upload or drag in your image.
- Choose what to do: convert the format, compress, or resize by width.
- Adjust the settings, such as the quality or the target width, and preview the result.
- Download the edited image.
Examples
