About this tool
Image Studio re-encodes a picture in your browser to change its format, shrink its file size, or resize it. Converting to JPG or WebP and lowering the quality is the fastest way to make a photo smaller for the web, and re-encoding also drops embedded data like camera model and location. It works on one image at a time, and very large images are limited by your device memory.

FAQ
Do my images get uploaded?
No. Every image is processed in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server or stored anywhere.
Which formats can I export?
PNG, JPG, and WebP. You can also resize by width and adjust quality before downloading.
Does compressing strip metadata?
Yes. Re-encoding the image drops embedded EXIF data such as location and camera details.
